FlameSubs’ first big release in a long time and it’s not a tokusatsu show (…right?). This is the closest I’ve ever been to doing a full series as a solo project. Getting to do everything that needed doing was a learning experience for me lmao. I’ve definitely grown more appreciative of my friends throughout the years who took care of those things for our releases. Thank you, bros…

Sukeban Deka is a special show. I feel like it has a very specific flavor of badassery. Saito Yuki’s portrayal of Saki is both awesome and endearing. She also managed to convey a surprisingly delicate emotional depth to the character. Moreover, I found myself liking the assortment of supporting characters better than I thought I would. Overall it was a very enjoyable watch.

So what’s next?
Not much to say. I’m still working on various things with my friends at EiGo and EarthlySubs so you’ll still be seeing me around. But I also have a couple personal projects that I really hope I can release in the near future. Stay tuned for those 🙂
